The Shalom Project meets immediate needs for many in our community with our Medical Clinic, Food Pantry, and Clothing Closet–all offered to the community free of charge. We also have programs designed to target the root causes of poverty in our community, programs like Flourish, a goal-setting and holistic wellness program designed to help women heads-of-household transition out of financial insecurity, and the Peters Creek Community Initiative, which is working toward bringing affordable housing to the intersection of Peters Creek Parkway and West Academy Street.
