The Shalom Project provides free medical care, clothing, and food to Neighbors in Need. I'm intimately involved with this organization and have been lucky enough to watch it flourish and grow over the past 25 years. The Big Chill is an ice cream fundraiser featuring a side-show of "cold callers" who sit on ice while making phone calls for donations. Every second counts and just a small donation will keep me stuck on the ice for a little bit longer. I'm calling on my network to make me suffer and commit to one minute for every $100 raised.
