I'm raising money for the Shalom Project because it is a local organization that doesn't just give handouts. This is a group that helps people build the tools they need to develop their own foundation for independence. At a time when so much is being cut and so many are being forgotten, this is group that provides medical services, food and nutritional counseling, clothing and a wealth of education and pathways to housing, jobs and overall stability. This is a group that embodies the concept of teaching a person to fish rather than simply giving them a fish. In our world, a little kindness goes a long way and you can be a part of this kind society and movement. Thank you!!!
