There is nothing quite like a beautiful summer day, tons of ice cream, loads of people, and a block of ice waiting to offer a weary soul a place to chill while raising money and awareness for a wonderful organization.
Thank goodness The Big Chill checks all of those boxes! The Shalom Project develops programs that challenge the cycle of poverty in our community with a spirit of inclusion, compassion, and justice.
I look forward to joining my neighbors on July 21st to help raise money for The Shalom Project by chilling on a block of ice and trying to remain cool under pressure. You can help me shake off some of the chill by donating to my fundraising page ahead of time - every dollar helps!
